Updated: Elizabeth Avenue Road Closure (Whiteway Street to Rodney Street)
Motorists are advised of a change in location of a road closure impacting Elizabeth Avenue. Elizabeth Avenue from Whiteway Street to Rodney Street will be restricted to local traffic only starting Monday, November 6, 2023.

Construction to Begin on Kelly’s Brook Shared-Use PathA new multi-year construction project is set to begin on November 6, 2023, on Kelly’s Brook Trail. The first phase of construction will begin in the vicinity of Kelly’s Brook Park between Newtown Road and Guy Street this fall.
Street Rehab - October 30 to November 4Contractors may be working on the following streets from October 30 to November 4 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.
Traffic Advisory: Detour – Duckworth Street (Kings Road to Holloway Street)A detour will be in place on Duckworth Street starting Thursday, October 26, between Kings Road to Holloway Street to facilitate construction related to the Provincial Government’s National War Memorial refurbishment project.
This work is anticipated to take a few weeks.
Lane Reduction - Duckworth Street (King's Road to Holloway Street)Monday, October 23 to Friday, October 27
Motorists are advised that Duckworth Street from King’s Road to Holloway Street will be reduced to one lane to facilitate the ongoing construction project adjacent to the National War Memorial. Signage will be in place and flag persons will be on site.
