To facilitate the Rolling Barrage PTSD Foundation memorial motorcycle ride at the National War Memorial, Water Street (from Prescott Street to Cochrane Street) will be closed on Thursday, July 30 from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Dates: Thursday, July 30 to Wednesday, August 5
Times: 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. daily
To facilitate the George Street Festival, the eastbound lane of Duckworth Street, from New Gower Street to Bate’s Hill, will be closed. The road closure will end at 3 a.m. on Thursday, August 6.
To facilitate planned watermain maintenance, southbound traffic on Symonds Avenue will be detoured via Albany Place and Albany Street from July 27 to August 10. Northbound traffic will not be impacted.
Contractors may be working on the following streets from July 27 to August 1 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas.
To facilitate the Churchill Park Music Festival, please note the following road closures, parking restrictions, and GoBus information for Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25.
To facilitate filming the television series, Saint Pierre, Craigmiller Avenue (between Ryan Street and Fraser Place) will be closed on Wednesday, July 22 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Culvert repairs are being completed on Blackhead Road near the Cape Spear parking lot beginning Tuesday, July 21. Work is expected to take approximately three days to complete.

Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.
The St. John's Pride Parade, hosted by St. John's Pride, will take place on Sunday, July 19 from noon to 2 p.m. The route will begin on New Gower Street in front of City Hall, and travel east on Duckworth Street, before turning up Ordinance Street, onto Military Road, and ending in Bannerman Park.
To facilitate the Churchill Park Music Festival, Elizabeth Avenue, from Allandale Road to Strawberry Marsh Road/Long Pond Road, will be closed from 3 p.m. to midnight on July 17, 18, 24, and 25.
